Yung Kee Awarded 1 Star in Michelin Guide - Hong Kong / Macau 2009
Yung Kee is proud to announce that it has been awarded 1 Michelin Star in the inaugural launch of
The Michelin Guide - Hong Kong / Macau 2009.
The world-renowned Michelin Guide sends out specialized inspectors year-round and awards restaurants based on their product quality, preparation and flavours, and consistency over and across the entire menu. This year, the Michelin Guide has awarded 22 Hong Kong
& Macau restaurants with ‘star’ status with Yung Kee being one of them.

Yung Kee greatly honoured to present essence of Hong Kong’s Cantonese cuisine before President Hu Jintao
On 29 June 2007, at the Government House dinner hosted in honour of President Hu Jintao and other Central Government officials, Yung Kee feels most honoured to be able to produce all Chinese dishes for the evening.
The menu was thoughtfully put together, hoping to showcase to the
President and officials the quality Cantonese cuisine of Hong Kong, the essence of our well-kept traditions and the representative local delicacy – our signature roasted goose.

Industry’s Highest Tribute Adds Colour to
Yung Kee’s 65th Anniversary Commemoration
On 17 March 2007, Mr Kinsen Kam, Yung Kee
Restaurant Group’s Director & General Manager,
received a special tribute at the ‘King of
Catering Award 2007” for his valuable
contribution made to Hong Kong’s catering
industry.
The honour came as a timely celebration of
the restaurant’s 65th anniversary. Accepting the
award, Mr Kam said, ‘not only does this award
belong to Yung Kee’s remarkable traditions and
team work, it also belongs to every member of
the catering business. Over the years, we have
been tirelessly promoting Hong Kong’s food
culture to the world. I truly believe that with
continued collaboration, we will achieve higher
heights in enhancing our city’s reputation as
the Gourmet Capital.’
The Award ceremony was broadcast on TVB Jade
channel and will be re-broadcast to various TV
channels in Mainland China.
